When our first grandchild was born, we anxiously waited for her to start talking.  She easily mastered Mama and Dada (much to the pleasure of her parents), but what would she name  us - the grandparents.  For Grandpa Rick Robinson, she picked Papa - tried and true and and an old standard as grandpa names go.  But what would she call Grandma Kimberly Robinson - it was LaLa she picked - a name that has since been adopted by all five of our grandchildren.  Each day, it is LaLa can ... LaLa will ... LaLa where ....  The same granddaughter who gave LaLa her name told me one day that LaLa is like Mary Poppins.  I asked her what do you mean?  Without hesitation, she responded - because LaLa is magic, she can do anything.  So what could possibly be a more fitting name for a farm where our whole family comes together to share food, fellowship, and exchange usually friendly banter - well of course - LaLa Farm.
